As I was reading this passage from John O Donahue’s book ‘Divine Beauty’ this morning, I was inspired to write this:

In the Silence, from the Silence

In the Silence, from the silence,

comes love from the heart of the earth.

In the Silence, from the silence,

comes the word, awakening

In the Silence, from the silence,

comes colour, dancing at the sight of the eye.

In the Silence, from the silence,

arouses sound, envigoriating the ground

In the Silence, from the silence,

comes life

In the Silence, from the silence

It is you

In the Silence, from the silence

It is soul

Awakening from the breath

Spirit living

In the Silence, from the silence

Is you

Feels you

Becomes you

One with sound, word, love and life

In the silence , from the silence.
